Culture has different definitions. It may be defined as the beliefs, customs, arts and practices of a certain social group at a particular place or time. Culture may also refer to a way of behaving, thinking, or working that exists in a particular place, organization or a society.
It is an important subfield of Sociology because culture deals with how a society, which is the main topic of Sociology, thinks and behaves and it contains a deeper understanding of theirs customs and beliefs.
There are different elements that make up a culture. These elements are: social norms, values, social institutions, artifacts, symbols, languages and behavioral patterns.
